رَّبِّ اَعُوۡذُ بِکَ مِنۡ ھَمَزٰتِ الشَّیٰطِیۡنِ ۙ وَ اَعُوۡذُ بِکَ رَبِّ اَنۡ یَّحۡضُرُوۡن ؕ۔

بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِۙ۔

Hypocritical infidels in the Muslim Ummah.

Those who are outwardly Muslim or born into Muslim families. But there is no Islam in their hearts or their hearts have gone away from Islam. And their hearts have become hardened, and they break the God’s Sunnah and Shariat. They love worldly life more than the religion of God, and the Hereafter. Such people are Hypocritical infidels. Allah Almighty also prohibits the funeral prayer of hypocritical disbelievers.

اِنَّ الۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ يُخٰدِعُوۡنَ اللّٰهَ وَهُوَ خَادِعُوْهُمۡ‌ ۚ وَاِذَا قَامُوۡۤا اِلَى الصَّلٰوةِ قَامُوۡا كُسَالٰى ۙ يُرَآءُوۡنَ النَّاسَ وَلَا يَذۡكُرُوۡنَ اللّٰهَ اِلَّا قَلِيۡلًا  ﴿۱۴۲﴾  مُّذَبۡذَبِيۡنَ بَيۡنَ ۖ  ذٰ لِكَ لَاۤ اِلٰى هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ وَلَاۤ اِلٰى هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ‌ ؕ وَمَنۡ يُّضۡلِلِ اللّٰهُ فَلَنۡ تَجِدَ لَهٗ سَبِيۡلًا‏ ﴿۱۴۳﴾۔

[Q-04:142-143]

Indeed, the hypocrites (in their own eyes) are deceiving Allah, while they themselves are deceived. And when they stand for prayer, with laziness, merely to show off to the people. And does not glorify God, but very little. (142) They are hanging in the middle, neither on this side nor on that side. And whoever God leads astray, he will never find the way (143).

مَنۡ كَفَرَ بِاللّٰهِ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ اِيۡمَانِهٖۤ اِلَّا مَنۡ اُكۡرِهَ وَقَلۡبُهٗ مُطۡمَٮِٕنٌّۢ بِالۡاِيۡمَانِ وَلٰـكِنۡ مَّنۡ شَرَحَ بِالۡكُفۡرِ صَدۡرًا فَعَلَيۡهِمۡ غَضَبٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ‌ۚ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيۡمٌ‏ ﴿۱۰۶﴾۔ ذٰ لِكَ بِاَنَّهُمُ اسۡتَحَبُّوا الۡحَيٰوةَ الدُّنۡيَا عَلَى الۡاٰخِرَةِ ۙ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهۡدِى الۡقَوۡمَ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۰۷﴾  اُولٰۤٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ طَبَعَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى قُلُوۡبِهِمۡ وَسَمۡعِهِمۡ وَاَبۡصَارِهِمۡ‌ۚ وَاُولٰۤٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡغٰفِلُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۰۸﴾  لَا جَرَمَ اَنَّهُمۡ فِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ هُمُ الۡخٰسِرُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۰۹﴾۔

[Q-16:106-109]

Whoever disbelieves in God after believing. (except he who is forced and whose heart is satisfied with faith). Those who openly disbelieve. On them is the wrath of God and for them is a great punishment (106). This is because they preferred worldly life on the Hereafter and Allah does not guide the disbelievers. (107) These are the people whose hearts, ears and eyes have been sealed by God and they are heedless. (108) There is no doubt that it is these people who will suffer losses in the next world (109).

وَلَا تُصَلِّ عَلٰٓى اَحَدٍ مِّنۡهُمۡ مَّاتَ اَبَدًا وَّلَا تَقُمۡ عَلٰى قَبۡرِهٖ ؕ اِنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوۡلِهٖ وَمَاتُوۡا وَهُمۡ فٰسِقُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۸۴﴾۔

[Q-9:84]

And when these (hypocrites) die, do not offer their funeral prayer at all. And not to stand on his grave. Because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger. And he also died in a state of disbelief. (84)

Ten things!  Which proves disbelief.

One who does not believe in God is an unbeliever. But even a believer can indulge in unbelief. If he becomes careless. let’s take a look. . . . . .

1. Those who disbelieve in one God and His Messengers. That is, they deny God and His Messengers. They are disbelievers.
2. Those who differentiate between God’s prophets. That is, they believe in some prophets of God, and reject faith in some prophets. They are unbelievers/infidels.
3. Those who want to find a new path between faith and disbelief. They are disbelievers.

اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ يَكۡفُرُوۡنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَرُسُلِهٖ وَيُرِيۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ يُّفَرِّقُوۡا بَيۡنَ اللّٰهِ وَرُسُلِهٖ وَيَقُوۡلُوۡنَ نُؤۡمِنُ بِبَعۡضٍ وَّنَكۡفُرُ بِبَعۡضٍۙ وَّيُرِيۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ يَّتَّخِذُوۡا بَيۡنَ ذٰ لِكَ سَبِيۡلًا ۙ‏ ﴿۱۵۰﴾  اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡـكٰفِرُوۡنَ حَقًّا‌ ۚ وَ اَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ عَذَابًا مُّهِيۡنًا‏ ﴿۱۵۱﴾۔

[Q-04:150-151]

Indeed, those who disbelieve in God and His Messengers. And want to divide between Messengers of God. And say! That we believe in some and not in others. And they want to make a new path between religion and disbelief. (150) Indeed, these people are disbelievers. And We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment. (151).

This is also an example of disbelief in prophets. That the Prophet was given the place of God. As . . ….

لَـقَدۡ كَفَرَ الَّذِيۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الۡمَسِيۡحُ ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ﯀ ﴿۱۷﴾۔

[Q-05:17]

Indeed, those who say that Christ son of Maryam is God, they have disbelieved. (17).

4. Those who deny Allah and His revelations. They are disbelievers.

وَالَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا وَكَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَاۤ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡجَحِيۡمِ‏ ﴿۱۰﴾۔

[Q-05:10]

And those who disbelieve, and deny Our revelations, they are the first companions of Hell. (10).

5. Those who have preferred worldly life over religion and the hereafter. They are disbelievers. Allah the Exalted also narrates an example about the hypocrites.

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنۡ يَّعۡبُدُ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى حَرۡفٍ‌ ‌ۚ فَاِنۡ اَصَابَهٗ خَيۡرٌ اۨطۡمَاَنَّ بِهٖ‌ ۚ وَاِنۡ اَصَابَتۡهُ فِتۡنَةُ اۨنقَلَبَ عَلٰى وَجۡهِهٖ‌ۚ خَسِرَ الدُّنۡيَا وَالۡاٰخِرَةَ ‌ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ هُوَ الۡخُسۡرَانُ الۡمُبِيۡنُ‏ ﴿۱۱﴾۔

[Q-22:11]

And there are some among the people who worship ostentation. So, if any good comes to them, he is satisfied. And when a test comes upon them, he turns face down. So, they lost this world and the hereafter. This is a clear loss for him. (11)

وَذَرِ الَّذِيۡنَ اتَّخَذُوۡا دِيۡنَهُمۡ لَعِبًا وَّلَهۡوًا وَّغَرَّتۡهُمُ الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَا‌ وَ ذَكِّرۡ بِهٖۤ اَنۡ تُبۡسَلَ نَفۡسٌ ۢ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ‌ۖ  لَـيۡسَ لَهَا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ وَلِىٌّ وَّلَا شَفِيۡعٌ‌ ۚ وَاِنۡ تَعۡدِلۡ كُلَّ عَدۡلٍ لَّا يُؤۡخَذۡ مِنۡهَا‌ ؕ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ اُبۡسِلُوۡا بِمَا كَسَبُوۡا‌ ۚ لَهُمۡ شَرَابٌ مِّنۡ حَمِيۡمٍ وَّعَذَابٌ اَ لِيۡمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَكۡفُرُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۷۰﴾۔

[Q-06:70]

And leave those people who have made their religion a game and a show and have been deceived by the life of this world. Yes, you just keep preaching so that their lives are not destroyed on the Day of Judgment because of their deeds. They have no friend or intercessor except Allah. And if he wanted to compensate with everything in the world, it would not be acceptable to God. These are the people who perished because of their deeds. They will have boiling water to drink and painful punishment. Because they used to deny (70).

وَيۡلٌ لِّـكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةِ ۙ‏ ﴿۱﴾  اۨلَّذِىۡ جَمَعَ مَالًا وَّعَدَّدَهٗ ۙ‏ ﴿۲﴾  يَحۡسَبُ اَنَّ مَالَهٗۤ اَخۡلَدَهٗ‌ ۚ‏ ﴿۳﴾  كَلَّا‌ لَيُنۡۢبَذَنَّ فِى الۡحُطَمَةِ ﴿۴﴾۔

[Q-104:1-4]

Shame on all those who slander and backbites. (1) One who collected money and counted it again and again. (2) He thinks that his wealth will lead to eternal life (3). No, he will surely be cast into ‘Hutma’ (one of the levels of hell). (4).

Example.

وَاتۡلُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَبَاَ الَّذِىۡۤ اٰتَيۡنٰهُ اٰيٰتِنَا فَانْسَلَخَ مِنۡهَا فَاَتۡبَعَهُ الشَّيۡطٰنُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الۡغٰوِيۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۷۵﴾  وَلَوۡ شِئۡنَا لَرَفَعۡنٰهُ بِهَا وَلٰـكِنَّهٗۤ اَخۡلَدَ اِلَى الۡاَرۡضِ وَاتَّبَعَ هَوٰٮهُ‌ ۚ فَمَثَلُهٗ كَمَثَلِ الۡـكَلۡبِ‌ ۚ اِنۡ تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡهِ يَلۡهَثۡ اَوۡ تَتۡرُكۡهُ يَلۡهَث ‌ؕ ذٰ لِكَ مَثَلُ الۡقَوۡمِ الَّذِيۡنَ كَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَا‌ ۚ فَاقۡصُصِ الۡقَصَصَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَفَكَّرُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۷۶﴾۔

[Q-07:175-176]

And narrate to them the case of the person to whom We gave Our signs, but he became separated from them. Then followed Devil him and he went astray. (175) And if We had willed, we could have raised it through these verses. But he got entangled in earthly aspirations and desires. So, his condition has become like that of a dog! If you chase him, he pants, and if you leave him, he still pants. This is an example of those who denied Our revelations. So, tell them this story. So that they worry (176).

6. Those who are involved in witchcraft, talismans. They are disbelievers. Allah says that no one can do good or bad without God’s command. But by choosing the wrong path, they oppress their lives. And in the hereafter, no part of them remains. Because they follow the path that Allah does not like.

وَاتَّبَعُوۡا مَا تَتۡلُوا الشَّيٰطِيۡنُ عَلٰى مُلۡكِ سُلَيۡمٰنَ‌‌ۚ وَمَا کَفَرَ سُلَيۡمٰنُ وَلٰـكِنَّ الشَّيٰـطِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا يُعَلِّمُوۡنَ النَّاسَ السِّحۡرَ﯀ وَمَآ اُنۡزِلَ عَلَى الۡمَلَـکَيۡنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوۡتَ وَمَارُوۡتَ‌ؕ وَمَا يُعَلِّمٰنِ مِنۡ اَحَدٍ حَتّٰى يَقُوۡلَاۤ اِنَّمَا نَحۡنُ فِتۡنَةٌ فَلَا تَكۡفُرۡؕ‌ فَيَتَعَلَّمُوۡنَ مِنۡهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُوۡنَ بِهٖ بَيۡنَ الۡمَرۡءِ وَ زَوۡجِهٖ‌ؕ وَمَا هُمۡ بِضَآرِّيۡنَ بِهٖ مِنۡ اَحَدٍ اِلَّا بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰهِ‌ؕ وَيَتَعَلَّمُوۡنَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمۡ وَلَا يَنۡفَعُهُمۡ‌ؕ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمُوۡا لَمَنِ اشۡتَرٰٮهُ مَا لَهٗ فِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ مِنۡ خَلَاقٍ‌ؕ وَلَبِئۡسَ مَا شَرَوۡا بِهٖۤ اَنۡفُسَهُمۡ‌ؕ لَوۡ کَانُوۡا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۰۲﴾۔

[Q-02:102]

And they follow the knowledge of those devils (the knowledge of magic). who were in the country of Sulaiman (peace be upon him). And Solomon did not disbelieve. But the devils disbelieved, and taught people magic.

And followed that (knowledge of magic) which was revealed to the two angels Harut and Marut in Babylon. And they did not teach anyone until they said, “We are only a test.” So, you do not fall into disbelief. So, they learned from them (the angels) the magic that separates a man from his wife.

And they could not harm anyone with it (magic) without God’s permission. And they used to learn such (magic) which was not beneficial for them, but it would surely harm them.

And they knew that whoever buys these things will have no share in the Hereafter. And surely what they sold their lives for was evil. If they had known. (102).

قُلۡ اَعُوۡذُ بِرَبِّ الۡفَلَقِۙ‏ ﴿۱﴾  مِنۡ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَۙ‏ ﴿۲﴾  وَمِنۡ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَۙ‏ ﴿۳﴾  وَمِنۡ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِى الۡعُقَدِۙ‏ ﴿۴﴾  وَمِنۡ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ ﴿۵﴾۔

[Q-113:1-5]

Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of the morning. (1) From the evil that he created.  (2) And from the evil of darkness, when it covers. (3) And from the evil of the witchcraft when they blow in the knots. (4) And from the evil of the envious, when he envies. (5)

7. Those who leave Allah and put their problems in front of others. Or they hope that on the day of judgment they will recommend them. And they love them like a God (for example, a follower of Pir or sages). They are disbelievers (Kafir). They forget that all power belongs only to Allah. And a Muslim should trust only in Allah.

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنۡ يَّتَّخِذُ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ اَنۡدَادًا يُّحِبُّوۡنَهُمۡ كَحُبِّ اللّٰهِؕ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡٓا اَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِّلّٰهِ ؕ وَلَوۡ يَرَى الَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡٓا اِذۡ يَرَوۡنَ الۡعَذَابَۙ اَنَّ الۡقُوَّةَ لِلّٰهِ جَمِيۡعًا ۙ وَّاَنَّ اللّٰهَ شَدِيۡدُ الۡعَذَابِ‏ ﴿۱۶۵﴾۔

[Q-02:165]

And among the people there are those who make a person equal to God, and love them like God. And those who believe, they love God more. And these people who wronged. When see the punishment, then they will believe that all power belongs to Allah, and Allah is severe in punishment (165).

وَاَنۡذِرۡ بِهِ الَّذِيۡنَ يَخَافُوۡنَ اَنۡ يُّحۡشَرُوۡۤا اِلٰى رَبِّهِمۡ‌ لَـيۡسَ لَهُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِهٖ وَلِىٌّ وَّلَا شَفِيۡعٌ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۵۱﴾۔

[Q-06:51]

And warn by the Qur’an those who fear to be gathered before their Lord, they will have no supporter and intercessor except in God. So that they become pious. (51).

اَفَحَسِبَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡۤا اَنۡ يَّتَّخِذُوۡا عِبَادِىۡ مِنۡ دُوۡنِىۡۤ اَوۡلِيَآءَ‌ ؕ اِنَّاۤ اَعۡتَدۡنَا جَهَـنَّمَ لِلۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ نُزُلًا‏ ﴿۱۰۲﴾۔

[Q-18:102]

Then do the unbelievers think that they can make my servants friends instead of me? Verily, we have made Hell an abode for the disbelievers (102).

8. Those learned people who hide the revelations of God. Or present them in a way to their advantage. They are disbelievers.

وَمَنۡ لَّمۡ يَحۡكُمۡ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۴۴﴾۔

[Q-05:44]

And whoever does not judge according to what Allah has revealed (i.e. Quran), then these are the disbelievers.

اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ يَكۡتُمُوۡنَ مَآ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الۡکِتٰبِ وَ يَشۡتَرُوۡنَ بِهٖ ثَمَنًا قَلِيۡلًا ۙ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ مَا يَاۡكُلُوۡنَ فِىۡ بُطُوۡنِهِمۡ اِلَّا النَّارَ وَلَا يُکَلِّمُهُمُ اللّٰهُ يَوۡمَ الۡقِيٰمَةِ وَلَا يُزَکِّيۡهِمۡ ۖۚ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَ لِيۡمٌ‏ ﴿۱۷۴﴾  اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ اشۡتَرَوُا الضَّلٰلَةَ بِالۡهُدٰى وَالۡعَذَابَ بِالۡمَغۡفِرَةِ‌ ۚ فَمَآ اَصۡبَرَهُمۡ عَلَى النَّارِ‏ ﴿۱۷۵﴾۔

[Q-02:174-175]

Verily, those who hide the revealed Book of Allah and take a small price in return. They fill their bellies with nothing but fire. And Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And for them will be a painful punishment. (174)

These are the people who replaced guidance with misguidance and forgiveness with punishment. What kind of bearers of Hellfire are they! (175).

اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ يَكۡتُمُوۡنَ مَآ اَنۡزَلۡنَا مِنَ الۡبَيِّنٰتِ وَالۡهُدٰى مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا بَيَّنّٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِى الۡكِتٰبِۙ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ يَلۡعَنُهُمُ اللّٰهُ وَ يَلۡعَنُهُمُ اللّٰعِنُوۡنَۙ‏ ﴿۱۵۹﴾۔

[Q-02:159]

Those who hide the clear proofs and guidance that We have sent down. Which We have made clear to the people in the Book. Allah’s curse is on them. And the curse of the cursers. (159).

9. Those who believe and later become disbelievers. They are sinners of the first degree. Because they are lost in darkness despite being aware of the light of knowledge.

اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوۡا ثُمَّ اٰمَنُوۡا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوۡا ثُمَّ ازۡدَادُوۡا كُفۡرًا لَّمۡ يَكُنِ اللّٰهُ لِيَـغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ وَلَا لِيَـهۡدِيَهُمۡ سَبِيۡلًا ؕ‏ ﴿۱۳۷﴾۔

[Q-04:137]

Indeed, those who believed, then disbelieved, then believed, then disbelieved, then increased in disbelief, Allah will not forgive them, nor will He guide them to His own path (137).

وَمَنۡ يَّرۡتَدِدۡ مِنۡكُمۡ عَنۡ دِيۡـنِهٖ فَيَمُتۡ وَهُوَ کَافِرٌ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ حَبِطَتۡ اَعۡمَالُهُمۡ فِى الدُّنۡيَا وَالۡاٰخِرَةِ ‌‌ۚ وَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ اَصۡحٰبُ النَّارِ‌‌ۚ هُمۡ فِيۡهَا خٰلِدُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۲۱۷﴾۔

[Q-02:217]

And whoever among you turns away from his religion, and dies as a disbeliever, then the deeds of such people will be lost in this world and the Hereafter. And these are the inhabitants of Hell, they will remain therein forever (217).

10. The one who talks about disbelief for the sake of worldly comfort is an infidel.

يَحۡلِفُوۡنَ بِاللّٰهِ مَا قَالُوۡا ؕ وَلَقَدۡ قَالُوۡا كَلِمَةَ الۡـكُفۡرِ وَكَفَرُوۡا بَعۡدَ اِسۡلَامِهِمۡ وَهَمُّوۡا بِمَا لَمۡ يَنَالُوۡا‌ ۚ وَمَا نَقَمُوۡۤا اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ اَغۡنٰٮهُمُ اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوۡلُهٗ مِنۡ فَضۡلِهٖ‌ ۚ فَاِنۡ يَّتُوۡبُوۡا يَكُ خَيۡرًا لَّهُمۡ‌ ۚ وَاِنۡ يَّتَوَلَّوۡا يُعَذِّبۡهُمُ اللّٰهُ عَذَابًا اَلِيۡمًا ۙ فِى الدُّنۡيَا وَالۡاٰخِرَةِ‌ ۚ وَمَا لَهُمۡ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ مِنۡ وَّلِىٍّ وَّلَا نَصِيۡرٍ‏ ﴿۷۴﴾۔

[Q-09:74]

They swear by God that they did not say that, and in reality, they said the word of disbelief, and became disbelievers after they accepted Islam. And they will not get what they were worried about. And were they angry? while Allah and His Messenger had enriched them with His bounty? So, if they repent, it is better for them. If they turn away, Allah will punish them painfully in this world and in the Hereafter. And there will be no guardian or helper for them in the earth (74).

Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful.

Allah the Exalted says. That worldly life is just a game and a spectacle. Therefore, do not turn away from religion for worldly desires.  And if you have committed an evil act out of ignorance, then repent, and be righteous, Undoubtedly, Allah has made mercy upon Himself obligatory. He is forgiving.

اِنَّمَا الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَا لَعِبٌ وَّلَهۡوٌ﯀وَاِنۡ تُؤۡمِنُوۡا وَتَتَّقُوۡا يُؤۡتِكُمۡ اُجُوۡرَكُمۡ وَلَا يَسۡــَٔــلۡكُمۡ اَمۡوَالَكُمۡ‏ ﴿۳۶﴾۔

[Q-47:36]

In fact, this worldly life is only a play and spectacle. If you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your reward and will not ask you for your wealth (36).

وَاِذَا جَآءَكَ الَّذِيۡنَ يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاٰيٰتِنَا فَقُلۡ سَلٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ‌ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمۡ عَلٰى نَفۡسِهِ الرَّحۡمَةَ‌ ۙ اَنَّهٗ مَنۡ عَمِلَ مِنۡكُمۡ سُوۡٓءًۢا بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ وَاَصۡلَحَۙ فَاَنَّهٗ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏ ﴿۵۴﴾۔

[Q-06:54]

And when those who believe in Our revelations come to you. Say, peace be upon you. And say, Your Lord has made mercy obligatory upon Himself, that is! If any of you commits a bad deed unknowingly, and later repents and reforms himself, then surely God is most forgiving and merciful. (54).

ثُمَّ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لِلَّذِيۡنَ عَمِلُوا السُّوۡۤءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابُوۡا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ ذٰ لِكَ وَاَصۡلَحُوۡۤا ۙ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهَا لَغَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ ﴿۱۱۹﴾۔

[Q-16:119]

Then those who committed evil deeds out of ignorance, then repented and reformed themselves, your Lord will definitely forgive such people. And He is Merciful (119).

رَّبُّكُمۡ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا فِىۡ نُفُوۡسِكُمۡ‌ؕ اِنۡ تَكُوۡنُوۡا صٰلِحِيۡنَ فَاِنَّهٗ كَانَ لِلۡاَوَّابِيۡنَ غَفُوۡرًا‏ ﴿۲۵﴾۔

[Q-17:25]

Your Lord knows what is in your hearts, if you are pious then surely, He will forgive those who repent. (25).

اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ تَابُوۡا وَاَصۡلَحُوۡا وَاعۡتَصَمُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَاَخۡلَصُوۡا دِيۡنَهُمۡ لِلّٰهِ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ مَعَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‌ ؕ وَسَوۡفَ يُـؤۡتِ اللّٰهُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ اَجۡرًا عَظِيۡمًا‏ ﴿۱۴۶﴾۔

[Q-04:146]

But those who repent, and are pure, and hold fast to the rope of Allah and are sincere in their religion for Allah, then they are believers near Allah. And soon God will give the believers a great reward (146).

Worldly luxuries for hypocritical infidels.

Allah Ta’ala opens the doors of worldly colors and luxuries for hypocrites and disbelievers. So that the pitcher of his sins is filled. And there will be no excuse left for him on the Day of Judgment.

اَللّٰهُ يَبۡسُطُ الرِّزۡقَ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُ‌ؕ وَفَرِحُوۡا بِالۡحَيٰوةِ الدُّنۡيَا ؕ وَمَا الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَا فِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ اِلَّا مَتَاعٌ ﴿۲۶﴾۔

[Q-13:26]

God gives ample sustenance to whomever He wills, or makes sustenance tight. And he (the well-to-do) becomes happy with the worldly life. And the reality of the life of this world is nothing compared to the hereafter. It’s just a temporary thing. (26).

مَنۡ كَانَ يُرِيۡدُ الۡحَيٰوةَ الدُّنۡيَا وَ زِيۡنَتَهَا نُوَفِّ اِلَيۡهِمۡ اَعۡمَالَهُمۡ فِيۡهَا وَهُمۡ فِيۡهَا لَا يُبۡخَسُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۵﴾  اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ لَـيۡسَ لَهُمۡ فِىۡ الۡاٰخِرَةِ اِلَّا النَّارُ‌ ‌ۖ  ؗ وَحَبِطَ مَا صَنَعُوۡا فِيۡهَا وَبٰطِلٌ مَّا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۶﴾۔

[Q-11:15-16]

Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornment, we will give him the full reward of his deeds in this (world) and his right will not be diminished. (15) These are the people for whom there is nothing but the Fire in the Hereafter and what they did in this world is futile and what they used to do is useless. (16)

فَلَمَّا نَسُوۡا مَا ذُكِّرُوۡا بِهٖ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ اَبۡوَابَ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ ؕ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا فَرِحُوۡا بِمَاۤ اُوۡتُوۡۤا اَخَذۡنٰهُمۡ بَغۡتَةً فَاِذَا هُمۡ مُّبۡلِسُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۴۴﴾۔

[Q-06:44]

So, when they (hypocritical) forgot the advice that was given to them. So, we opened the doors of everything for them. Even while they were engrossed in these luxuries, we caught them suddenly and they were astonished (44).

فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنۡ يَّقُوۡلُ رَبَّنَآ اٰتِنَا فِى الدُّنۡيَا وَمَا لَهٗ فِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ مِنۡ خَلَاقٍ‏ ﴿۲۰۰﴾۔

[Q-02:200]

And there are some people who pray that, O our Lord, bless us in this world, such people will have no share in the Hereafter (200).

The hypocrites are companions of the devils.

Hypocrites are outwardly part of the Muslim community, but in reality, they are companions of devils. And help in the works of devils. These are the domestic enemies who harm the Muslim community. In fact, they have been rejected by God.

وَيَحۡلِفُوۡنَ بِاللّٰهِ اِنَّهُمۡ لَمِنۡكُمۡؕ وَمَا هُمۡ مِّنۡكُمۡ وَلٰـكِنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٌ يَّفۡرَقُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۵۶﴾۔

[Q-09:56]

And they (Hypocrites) swear by God. That surely, they are from among you. But they are not among from you. Rather, they are fearful people (56).

اَلۡمُنٰفِقُوۡنَ وَالۡمُنٰفِقٰتُ بَعۡضُهُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡضٍ‌ۘ يَاۡمُرُوۡنَ بِالۡمُنۡكَرِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ الۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ وَيَقۡبِضُوۡنَ اَيۡدِيَهُمۡ‌ؕ نَسُوا اللّٰهَ فَنَسِيَهُمۡ‌ؕ اِنَّ الۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ هُمُ الۡفٰسِقُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۶۷﴾۔  

[Q-09:67]

Hypocritical men and hypocritical women are related to each other. They ask you to do bad things. And prevents from doing good deeds. And prevents hands from spending. They forgot God, so, God also forgot them. Undoubtedly, the hypocrites are evil-doers. (67).

The good deeds of the hypocrites will be wasted.

Hypocrites worship lazily and heartlessly just for the sake of show. And does not spend happily in the name of God. And do not believe in God. That is why they will not get retribution for their prayers and donations in God’s court.

وَمَا مَنَعَهُمۡ اَنۡ تُقۡبَلَ مِنۡهُمۡ نَفَقٰتُهُمۡ اِلَّاۤ اَنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَبِرَسُوۡلِهٖ وَلَا يَاۡتُوۡنَ الصَّلٰوةَ اِلَّا وَهُمۡ كُسَالٰى وَلَا يُنۡفِقُوۡنَ اِلَّا وَهُمۡ كٰرِهُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۵۴﴾۔

[Q-09:54]

And the reason for not accepting charity from these hypocrites is that they disbelieved with God and His Messenger. And they do not come to prayer (namaz) but lazily. And wealth does not spend but with unhappiness. Just to show people (54).

كَالَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكُمۡ كَانُوۡۤا اَشَدَّ مِنۡكُمۡ قُوَّةً وَّاَكۡثَرَ اَمۡوَالًا وَّاَوۡلَادًا ؕ فَاسۡتَمۡتَعُوۡا بِخَلَاقِهِمۡ فَاسۡتَمۡتَعۡتُمۡ بِخَلَاقِكُمۡ كَمَا اسۡتَمۡتَعَ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكُمۡ بِخَلَاقِهِمۡ وَخُضۡتُمۡ كَالَّذِىۡ خَاضُوۡا‌ ؕ اُولٰۤٮِٕكَ حَبِطَتۡ اَعۡمَالُهُمۡ فِى الدُّنۡيَا وَالۡاٰخِرَةِ‌ ۚ وَاُولٰۤٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡخٰسِرُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۶۹﴾۔

[Q-09:69]

O hypocrites, you are like those first people. Who were more powerful than you in strength and were also more powerful than you in wealth and children. They suffered their fate, and you suffered your fate, as those before you have suffered your fate. And you got busy with nonsense, just like they were busy with nonsense. These are the people whose virtues were ruined in this world and the hereafter. And these are the people who are the losers (69).

Hypocrite punished in the world.

Hypocrites are so disliked by Allah that He blesses them in this world so that there is no excuse left in the Hereafter. But despite this, God also keeps the shadow of calamities over them. And this is so that man can introspect. And remember God. In fact, there is good hidden even in the losses given by God.

اَوَلَا يَرَوۡنَ اَنَّهُمۡ يُفۡتَـنُوۡنَ فِىۡ كُلِّ عَامٍ مَّرَّةً اَوۡ مَرَّتَيۡنِ ثُمَّ لَا يَتُوۡبُوۡنَ وَلَا هُمۡ يَذَّكَّرُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۲۶﴾۔

[Q-09:126]

Don’t these hypocrites see that they are tested once or twice a year? Yet they neither repent nor accept advice (126).

وَلَا تُعۡجِبۡكَ اَمۡوَالُهُمۡ وَاَوۡلَادُهُمۡ‌ؕ اِنَّمَا يُرِيۡدُ اللّٰهُ اَنۡ يُّعَذِّبَهُمۡ بِهَا فِى الدُّنۡيَا وَتَزۡهَقَ اَنۡفُسُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ كٰفِرُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۸۵﴾۔

[Q-09:85]

And do not be surprised at the wealth and children of these hypocrites! Allah intends only to punish them in this world through this wealth. And let them die in this state. That they are infidels. (85).

The hypocrites will be in hell deeper than the other infidels.

Hypocritical unbelievers will receive a more severe punishment than other unbelievers. These hypocrites will be thrown into the depths of hell. Because these will be the same people. Those who knew and recognized Allah and His religion and truth.  Yet they followed the path of unbelief and Satan.

اِنَّ الۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ فِى الدَّرۡكِ الۡاَسۡفَلِ مِنَ النَّارِ‌ ۚ وَلَنۡ تَجِدَ لَهُمۡ نَصِيۡرًا ۙ‏ ﴿۱۴۵﴾۔

[Q-04:145]

Indeed, the hypocrites will be in the lowest part of hell. And you will find no helper for them. (145).

اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَا سَوۡفَ نُصۡلِيۡهِمۡ نَارًا ؕ كُلَّمَا نَضِجَتۡ جُلُوۡدُهُمۡ بَدَّلۡنٰهُمۡ جُلُوۡدًا غَيۡرَهَا لِيَذُوۡقُوا الۡعَذَابَ‌ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ عَزِيۡزًا حَكِيۡمًا‏ ﴿۵۶﴾ ۔

[Q-04:56]

Verily, those who disbelieved in Our revelations, we will cast them into hell.  When their skins burn, we will change them into new skins. So that they continue to taste the punishment.  Indeed, Allah is Mighty, Wise (56).

وَعَدَ اللّٰهُ الۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ وَالۡمُنٰفِقٰتِ وَالۡـكُفَّارَ نَارَ جَهَـنَّمَ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَا‌ ؕ هِىَ حَسۡبُهُمۡ‌ ۚ وَلَـعَنَهُمُ اللّٰهُ‌ ۚ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيۡمٌ ۙ‏ ﴿۶۸﴾۔

[Q-09:68]

Allah has promised hell from hypocrite men and hypocrite women and disbelievers. That he is enough for them. God curses them. And for them is eternal torment (68).
